The Eastern most point of PEI.

Flat Nicole in East Point.   I'm at the top of the lighthouse in East Point; I climbed all the way to the top; it's 19.5 metres high.  what a beautiful view!  This lighthouse is located at the most Eastern point of Prince Edward Island.  Lighthouses were, and are still used, to guide boats away from dangerous reefs and into safe harbours.  There were many shipwrecks off the East Point because there were 3 tides to navigate.

The red shores.
Next lighthouse we visited was Point Prim.  This is the oldest lighthouse on PEI.  It was built in 1845.  It is the only round brick lighthouse in Canada!  of course, tours were closed!

This is Point Prim.  What a beauty!

Oh well, look, there's Flat Nicole!

A good photo of me with my Anne of Green Gables sticker on while I hang out on the shore of Point Prim.

Look at all the tires used for the ferry!

One last view of the Wood Islands lighthouse and the red shores of PEI as we leave on the ferry to make our way to Nova Scotia.

Flat Nicole in the car on the ferry.  She was a quiet passenger!

Not so fast Flat Nicole....

...you're sleeping on the chair!
